This petition calls for the addition of two cultural heritage emojis: the Royal Iran Flag (pre-1979) and the Lion & Sun emblem. These symbols represent more than a political era—they reflect 2,500 years of Persian history, identity, and cultural continuity.
For many Iranians around the world, especially those living under censorship or in exile, these symbols have become a peaceful way to express heritage, remembrance, and identity. They are widely used in cultural, historical, and memorial contexts today.
